SGSP Mentorship Program

Mentoring young women for a brighter future!

What is the Mentorship Program?

The Mentorship Program provides opportunities for scholarship awardees to benefit from access to more experienced professionals while giving mentors the opportunity to contribute to women’s education in Azerbaijan. Participants in mentor programs, both mentor and mentee, share their values and personal goals in a mutually respectful, supportive way which leads to a more enriched life for both. A successful mentorship program helps break down barriers and creates opportunities for success.

The Goal

To provide structured mentoring program capable of assisting mentees in their academic life and ideas, defining career goals and plans, and supporting relevant education/skills development needs.

Program Rules

The mentor provides skills, knowledge, and experience through guidance, counseling, coaching and support. The mentee provides talent and abilities by taking responsibilities, willingness to learn and develop personal progress plan. Mentors are strongly recommended to avoid providing any financial support to their mentees.
